As already noted here, I’ve at last updated this blog to the latest 2.5.1 .
2.0.11 worked well, but there was a little trouble with some plugins: many of them had newer versions requiring with 2.3.x line, and only older versions were compatible with legacy 2.0.x line . This isn’t a trouble, unless newer versions are fixing security issues (that’s to say … you will keep a security hole unless you want to upgrade all your blog to latest line).
So, when I saw
fixed XSS in version a.b.c, WP 2.5.x required
well, it was enough.
Only the time to download latest versions of many plugin installed here, the time to fix the theme and the site was upgraded.
